Megan Talley

General Manager

Born and raised nearby in Seaford, Delaware, Megan went to college at the University of Delaware for Business Management. Shortly before graduation in 2018, Megan came to Big Fish to secure a part time serving and managing job for her post graduation summer. The rest is history. Spanning five restaurants and six different positions, Megan’s career blossomed into a wonderful bouquet of kindness, empathy, and an undying passion to help others. After those several years of searching, that bouquet had at long last found a home, resting firmly on the mantle of Striper Bites since September 2021. When she’s not honing her craft at Striper Bites, you can find her spending quality time with friends, family and her favorite Australian Shepherd, Sadie.

Bobby Belt

Executive Chef

Meet Bobby Belt, the chef at Striper Bites in Lewes. He has over thirty years of experience starting in his home town of Fairmont, WV. His passion for the business inspired him to attend culinary school in Pittsburg, PA. He then started working at a high end steakhouse in Rumson, NJ, where he gained most of this knowledge and expertise being Executive Chef for nineteen years.
In Fall of 2020, Bobby accepted a position with Big Fish Restaurant Group. After having the opportunity to work in many of their Southern restaurants, Bobby fell in love with downtown Lewes. Bobby had an instant fondness for the historic charming beach town. Since becoming chef at Striper Bites, he has been passionate and dedicated to elevating the flavors of the food and developing his kitchen crew.
In his free time, Bobby, his wife, and two daughters enjoy their lives here in Sussex County, oftentimes riding bikes on the trails, or living the beach life with their two dogs!
